In-House Search at Travel Company, Wotif.com

Matthew Varley, Wotif’s General Manager, Online Marketing, talks to Imedia Connection about Wotif’s in-house search marketing (skip the ad).  Varley says that search is a critical part of Wotif’s marketing strategy.   In-House makes sense because it ensures that search gets factored into decisions company wide.  Varley also points out that his staff has in-depth, vertical specific knowledge that makes a big difference in search strategy and execution.  (I guess it’s all about results.)
